Ooh Lordy, here we go again...!
Well if you needed any more convincing that trading on horse races has nothing to do with horses then this video ought to do the trick as you see me scumming a few ticks here and there off the honest punters on Betfair. Shocking. The commentary is a bit daft, with some colourful language here and there so no changes there. And as usual I’ve got no idea what is going on with the racing and rarely look at the name of the horse on which I’m trading. My trading bank for this video is around £400 and I make £56 profit which is a 14% return on the day.
As usual I’m trading on the favourite’s price in 20 consecutive UK horse race markets, hedging my profit or loss just before the race starts so that I make or lose the same amount whether the favourite wins the race or not. I’m taking quick, small losses when prices go against me and taking small, quick profits when I get it right. As soon as the race is about to start I move onto the next race and start trading on that one. So a good summary might be: same old shit, different day. Marvellous.
I did the commentary after I had already done the recording so that I could edit out the start of each market where I haven’t yet done any trades; this allowed me to reduce the length of the video down from 4 hours to just over 2 hours. And I inserted the Betfair accounts page for each race market before I show my trading on that market so that you can use the pause button to see exactly what I did.
